We’re looking for a flexible and experienced Training Manager to join our Functional Training team. This individual must be skilled in collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape learning strategies that align with organizational goals and have the proven ability to assess business needs, design scalable learning solutions, and implement data-driven improvements that enhance user performance and engagement. This role is committed to building training programs that support both new and existing users through thoughtful planning, innovation, and strategic foresight.

You’ll manage a team of training professionals, guiding them to create high-quality, role-based content. Your focus will be on building engaging programs that drive system adoption and give users the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

Job Detail:

  • Lead and support the design, implementation, and continuous refinement of organizational training strategies to ensure alignment with overarching business objectives and evolving user needs.
  • Collaborate with business areas as needed to implement impactful training.
  • Work closely with the Change Management, Documentation, and Communications teams to evaluate outcomes of impact assessments, to conduct training analysis, including communications and to champion change throughout the project.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructional designers and trainers to ensure high-quality delivery of training programs across multiple departments and geographies.
  • Develop and implement blended learning approaches (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, hands-on exercises, virtual training) to accommodate diverse learning preferences.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that all deliverables are relevant, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor user adoption rates and feedback to continuously refine and improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training, such as user proficiency, training completion rates, and system usage improvements.
  • Track training results utilizing scorecards and measures, to accurately report to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas of focus for ongoing training initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external training vendors or consultants as needed to support specialized training needs or initiatives.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Education, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in training and instructional design, with at least 3 years in managerial role.
  • Experience in an operational, geographically diverse setting is preferred.
  • Proven experience in collaboration and design of training strategy and programs with a focus on adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Experience managing a team coordinating large-scale training initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Data-Driven Training Evaluation skills and assessments
  • Aligning with Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement activities, such as impact assessments
  • Experience applying innovative technologies learning programs, such as AI
  • E-learning Tools: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, etc.), and virtual training tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management to align training with organizational goals.
  • High level of customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical information.
