2602316Join our new and growing Talent Management Department as an Onboarding Specialist! Acting as the liaison and main point of contact, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for creating a highly positive and welcoming onboarding experience for all new Team Partners joining the organization at any of our 250+ UniFirst locations. This role is responsible for developing, leading, and managing all onboarding activities that support and accelerate new hire (internal and external) assimilation from the time of offer acceptance to the time at which the new hire is fully integrated.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective onboarding program, with tools and resources that create a positive new hire experience
- Execute an exceptional and consistent onboarding experience, including regular communication with new hires at various stages during the onboarding process as well as coaching and guidance of managers on how to effectively onboard new hires for increased engagement and retention
- Establish metrics; collect and analyze data related to the onboarding experience; monitor and report on the status and usage of the onboarding program and processes; identify and recommend program improvements
- Partner heavily with other Human Resources (HR) Teams, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Payroll & Talent Technology, and Learning & Development.
- Assist with additional projects and tasks as required
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferred experience within administration, customer service, and/or Human Resources handling various aspects of onboarding processes
- Proficiency with MS Suite

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
