UniFirst Corporation is currently seeking an energetic and motivated administrative assistant to work with our Human Resources Team. We seek someone who is customer focused and has the proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This individual will embrace change, transparency, and accountability in this fast paced ever-changing department. This position is the first point of contact for Human Resources and as such, needs to be personable and professional.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provides general administrative support to the HR team including:
- Calendar management and meeting coordination
- Manages the procurement and organization of administrative supplies, office equipment, telecommunication services, and other equipment
- Maintains all public and common areas of HR office space, ensuring a professional and modern ambience
- Voucher and prepare purchase orders and/or pay via company credit card, for all invoices for HR Department on a timely basis
- Set up and maintain vendor files
- Administer new hire orientation for Corporate office
- Support the Benefits Department with various administrative tasks
- Administers Service Awards and Employee Referral programs
- Acts as first response department liaison to employees, department heads, and external contacts
- Monitor HR Hotline routing any calls to appropriate staff members
- Takes the lead in coordinating activities for the Department and the Corporate Office, including meetings, training, and other special events etc.
- Assists Department Managers with other resources as needed

- Must have demonstrated superior communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management Strong work ethic
