Speedy Pick Material Handler - Owensboro

The Speedy Pick Material Handler is a role within the Active Pick Department, working closely with Speedy Pick Operators to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow. This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of work along the production line, ensuring that the tasks are continuously pushed to workstations, and retrieving completed work for further staging and processing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring the production line where work is being processed by Speedy Pick Operators.
• Responsible for Ensuring that work is continuously pushed down the line to work stations for processing.
• Responsible for retrieving completed work from the line as operators finish processing tasks.
• Will need to stage completed work to carts, including cases of garment remnants and pick totes, for the next phase of processing.
• Responsible for keeping the work area organized and maintain the necessary materials to prevent disruptions in workflow.
• Expected to collaborate with Speedy Pick Operators and other team members to maintain an efficient and effective operation.
• Will be expected to cross train in other areas of the Picking department

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Required to read and write English and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
• Must possess the ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors.
• Requires cross-training in other areas of the facility.
• Must be willing and able to actively participate in plant-wide safety activities.
