2501555UniFirst Owensboro is seeking a reliable and hardworking QC Coordinator to join our UniFirst Family. As a QC Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s Quality Management Systems (QMS). At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
Our Team Partners receive ongoing cross-training, exposing them to different areas of production. Cross training enhances their performance and assists them with their career potential and advancement.
We offer a 40-hour work week. Enjoy weekends off!

- Responsible for monitoring, measuring, and reporting of internal audit processes, especially those impacting product quality. ·
- Facilitates cross-functional teams of employees and auditors to achieve quality objectives.
- Collaborate with management and staff to establish and maintain product and service requirements. ·
- Investigate quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and collaborate with teams to resolve recurring quality concerns.
- Develops and distributes reporting on Distribution Center and Personalization quality performance and objectives, including quality audits, corrective actions, and opportunities for improvement, and trend analysis.
- Provide analytics for periodic management review meetings to assess QMS effectiveness and propose enhancements.
- Supports the training department in development of training programs to promote quality awareness and adherence.
- Trains employees on quality procedures, best practices, and compliance standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Associates degree preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 3-5 years of direct experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to communicate effectively through phone, email, and in person with customers, vendors, and colleagues
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient for standard tasks, including document review and attending meeting.
- Understands Troubleshooting, Problem-Solving & Corrective Actions concepts, tools, and implementation.
- Ability to develop and maintain documentation on audits, initiatives, and activities.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
