This position’s primary focus is supporting team partners in the Shipping/Sew Seal department as well as the efficient flow of work through the Shipping/Sew Seal department.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be cross trained in Canada processing, overseeing paperwork at end of shift when closing out Canada shipments and emailing out to appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for Overseeing work that may need to be expedited or prioritized, ensuring that any exceptions are promptly addressed and resolved,
  • Cleaning up straggler work and resolving issues with orders that are stalled due to various issues.
  • Will often complete tasks that would otherwise be off standard time for the incentive team partners.
  • Work closely with the Group leader as well as other departments to coordinate and troubleshoot any order processing issues.
  • Personal Protective Equipment is required in this area (specific gloves for handling wood pallets, protective eyewear in Sew Seal).
  • May be responsible working in various aspects of the department when needed.
  • May be required to perform quality audits on work being performed
  • Will be required to work overtime as necessary. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Must comply with work instructions set for the department on how to perform the tasks of the position.
  • Must meet performance and quality standards set for the department.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Required to read and write English and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Previous warehouse experience or experience in the department a plus but no necessary
  • Must possess the ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors.
  • Requires cross-training in other areas of the facility.
  • Must be willing and able to actively participate in plant-wide safety activities.
