Fleet Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all corrective, preventative, and predictive
maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the fleet.
You will be responsible for maintaining fleet vehicles in a safe working while adhering to DOT
standards and requirements.
Maintain fleet vehicles in a safe working condition meeting DOT and other regulatory
requirements.
Ensure that all vehicles are properly licensed and permitted, compliant with all regulatory
agencies.
Ensure that all preventative maintenance is performed as per corporate policy.
Ensure that all vehicles meet the company appearance requirements.
Keep garage safe, clean, and well maintained while meeting OSHA requirements.
Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe
and usable condition.
Manage parts purchasing and inventory and monitor for best pricing and quality.
Manage the warranty and recall/campaign program.
2-3 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including: Preventative
Maintenance, tire & wheel, air & hydraulic brakes, drivetrain, computerized diagnostics,
suspension, electrical and A/C.
Proven computer skills and ability to use diagnostic software.
Diploma and/or certificate from an accredited technical school and equivalent experience is
preferred.
