Our Team is Kind of a Big Deal!

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sales Trainee to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Sales Department, you will be facilitating various virtual and in-person training classes. When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5- day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide various training classes to employees including, but not limited to, jumpstart training, sales managers training, product training, and overall sales skills development training.
  • Review and update company manuals and training materials.
  • Analyze current locations and Territory Manager’s (TM) success and challenges.
  • Develop strategic plans to improve sales at locations with subpar performance.
  • Work directly with the corporate trainer on various projects within the First Aid division.
  • Review current sales goals, objectives, strategies, and outcomes.
  • Use iPad for Pepperi and continue to improve the process flow and implement phase two objectives.
  • Work with internal and external resources to increase the first aid, safety, AED, and training for our sales staff.
  • Complete continuing education to increase sales offerings and knowledge.
  • Provide continuous support to the sales staff. • Resolve conflict on issues and challenges that the sales staff may encounter.
  • Provide support with UniFirst First Aid + Safety integration throughout different locations.
  • Develop sales promotions for the TMs and Sales Managers (SMs).
  • Assist with company acquisitions as needed.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • High school and/or GED equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards.
  • Minimum two years as a Territory Manager and three years as an Sales Manager within the first aid division.
  • Two years of teaching CPR/First Aid. • Experience in sales and upselling. • Ability to communicate material in a clear and understandable approach.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to teach effectively in an adult learning environment.
  • Ability to travel within the United States. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
